Invitation to Tender For Outreach Programme for Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub – 2016 to 2018

Cornwall Development Company (CDC) has been contracted to establish and operate the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub service as part of the European Growth Programme 2014 – 2020. The Growth Hub will encourage and support businesses to grow, innovate and invest through a one-stop service for information and guidance on and access to business support provision.

Cornwall Development Company is seeking to procure a broad scale marketing,

communications and events Outreach Programme in Cornwall & Isles of Scilly which, as its primary objective, will seek to identify new growth and growth (potential) businesses that have not previously engaged with publicly-funded business support providers.

Description of Procurement:

The Growth Hub Outreach Programme will focus specifically on reaching out to areas of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly which have been under-represented through take-up of business support products and services in previous programmes. The aim being to increase the level of penetration across the area to achieve a much higher and more balanced uptake of business support services.

The Programme will also engage with other business organisations and networks and intermediaries to access new growth and growth potential clients. Target beneficiaries will be start-ups, micro businesses and SMEs, including social enterprises, throughout the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership area.
