Camden Major Repairs & Voids Contracts

The London Borough of Camden ('the Council') is seeking to appoint 4 contractors for the provision of major repairs and voids works to involve building improvements, repairs and maintenance for the Property Management Division of the Supporting Communities Directorate.

Tenderers are invited to submit a tender for any of the following Contracts:

Contract 1 - Major Repairs and Voids Camden North East - 6,550 Council properties Contract 2 - Major Repairs and Voids Camden North West - 6,721 Council properties Contract 3 - Major Repairs and Voids Camden Central - 9,960 Council properties Contract 4 - Major Repairs and Voids Camden South - 10,083 Council properties

In total, there are four (4) Contracts and you should submit a tender response for each Contract you wish to tender for. The Council intends to appoint one supplier per Contract. The 4 tenders which have the 4 highest most economically advantageous tender (MEAT) scores will be appointed with the proviso that none can be awarded more than one contract. This would mean in the event that a single tenderer is successful in more than one Contract, they will only be appointed to the Contract in which they received the highest evaluation score.

These Term Contracts are being set up to support one of the Council's key objectives set out in its Camden Plan - to strive to make homes in Camden safe, well-managed and well-maintained, and make sure people's homes meet their needs.

The Council has housing stock of 33,000 council homes (24,000 are tenanted and 9,000 are leasehold).

The total overall budget for the major repairs and voids contracts is approximately £4,000,000 excluding VAT and will be for a duration of 364 days running from 1st September 2020 to 30th August 2021.
