Bristol City Council has recently been awarded funds to support a public communications campaign to support activity around improving Safety of Women At Night (SWAN), with a particular focus on developing anti-sexual harassment awareness campaign for the Night Time Economy (NTE). The campaign aims to raise awareness of unwanted harassment; people recognising their views on this type of behaviour; and by the number of people who would intervene if a witness to this behaviour. The campaign needs to be completed by end of March 2022. The campaign should be focussed on supporting the NTE and those businesses that operate alongside public spaces and have customers. The provider(s) will need to work with relevant stakeholders, develop messages and deliver the campaign through a variety of media.
