UK Shared Business Services Ltd, acting as the Contracting Authority, is putting into place a Contract on behalf of the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) .

BAS is looking for a supplier capable of providing of providing a Subsea Multi-Corer system to collect Biological Materials & Geological Sediment samples from the ocean floor up to a depth of 6000m. .

The Multi-Corer shall be provided with

● 12 sample tubes, each being at least 60cm x 10cm in diameter

● Adjustable Penetration Depth of the core tubes

● Provide live video footage to the sea surface

● Interface with the fibre optic cable (A302351) used by BAS

(Refer to attached specification for details)

● Delivery to be achieved before the end of April 2017

Your e-mail must clearly state : the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for ; the name of the registered Bidder ; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email.

Crown Commercial will process the email and then enable the bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite.

The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done.
