description

Barnet Homes would like to commission a psychological support service that can be accessed by our resettled families free of charge, and that can be adapted to individual circumstances in a safe environment and a culturally sensitive context.

Although it is a priority for families to learn English, to ensure that the best outcomes are being reached for families, the support service will need to be delivered in Arabic, and have the capability to be delivered in the homes of the families. The provider will need to ensure they are able to provide qualified Arabic-speaking psychologists who are able to travel. The service will be confidential although psychologists will work closely with the support worker to update on the progress of individuals. The aim of the VPR scheme is to support families to full independence.
