West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals - Contract for Partnership in the Provision of West Herts Stoma Care Services

WHTH are looking for Sponsorship of the stoma care service and provision of a DA The anticipated start date of the new agreement is 1st January 2023, however this may be subject to change.

Based on past trend, we anticipate that in this current financial year 160-180 new stoma patients will be discharged from WHTH and patients will require provisions of stoma care equipment supplied in accordance with the HVCCG Stoma Care prescribing formulary, which is obtained via a Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC).

The Service Provider will be clearly identified as the nominated DAC "Home Delivery Supplier" and offered to all new WHTH stoma patients. However, it should be noted that our patients can continue to choose an alternative DAC should they prefer.
