description

Lancashire Constabulary East division consists of many older properties that are potentially coming to the end of their useful life, and would require significant investment to remodel or refurbish to ensure they are fit for future modern day policing needs. Additionally, some of our response operating bases within the division are occupied beyond capacity.

In order to protect local policing, the Constabulary need to make the best use of its land and buildings. The first step is to carry out a feasibility study of the existing estate across the East division which can form the basis of any strategic decision making around the estate. It is intended that the review is completed by mid-July 2021 in order to meet the first round of Business Planning in August 2021.
