description
Norfolk's local authorities are working in partnership with the New Anglia LEP to drive business growth and increase productivity and business profitability within Norfolk. Our partnership now seeks to better understand the film, television, commercial and associated sectors within Norfolk, obtaining an objective and statistical evidence base on the current state of that sector in Norfolk.
This gathering of data will provide an evidence base to support Norfolk's public sector to develop strategies, an action plan and discrete activities to support growth of filming activity within Norfolk. We aim to promote Norfolk as a location of choice to the international and domestic film sector, thereby increasing business opportunities for our local film community, career opportunities for our citizens, and additional income accruing to businesses which support the film sector.
Additionally, the local authorities are anxious to explore whether there are realistic opportunities for the creation of a sustainable source of income generation which might benefit the public sector itself.
This specification and its various work packages will supply Norfolk's local authorities with the technical information, statistical evidence and current case studies to enable us to seek additional funding to deliver support to the film, television and wider creative sector in our county.
This in turn will help drive business growth, aspiration and career ambition of our citizens and support the development of future initiatives.
Further information is in the quote documents. The value of the contract is £52,000.
