Minor Works & Reactive Maintenance ServicesTender for Ten Contracts - South Kesteven District Council

South Kesteven District Council wish to appoint one suitably experienced and qualified contractor to each of ten separate contracts (ten Lots) to meet their reactive works and maintenance requirements. The bulk of the works or services will be required for Corporate properties and amenities across the District, including council offices, community centres, play areas and public toilets. Contractors may also be required to respond - but to a far lesser extent - to reactive works or repairs requirements to social housing stock. Out of hours services may be required on occasion in respect of Corporate properties (but not in respect of social housing).

A contractor may bid for more than one contract/Lot but they must meet the minimum requirements for each Lot they bid for, including, relevant experience and trade/professional accreditation.

Lot 1 Flooring - Estimated annual value £5,500

Lot 2 Plastering - Estimated annual value £ TBC

Lot 3 Joinery & Carpentry - Estimated annual value £20,500

Lot 4 Painting & decorating - Estimated annual value £20,000

Lot 5 Office Removals, Clearance & cleaning - Estimated annual value £11,000

Lot 6 Electrical works - Estimated annual value £130,000

Lot 7 Plumbing & Drainage - Estimated annual contract value £128,000

Lot 8 Groundworks - Estimated annual contract value £64,000

Lot 9 Masonry & Brickwork - Estimated annual contract value £22,00

Lot 10 Scaffolding - Estimated annual contract value £90,000

Bidders must complete and submit the tender Response document and the Pricing Schedule.

Bidders must be careful to price ALL the items specified for the Lot or Lots they are bidding for AND to include the total of ALL the specified items as well.

The initial term of the contract is 2 yrs. with the option to extend for periods of at least 12 months at a time for up to a further 4 yrs. 2+1+1+1+1.

The contracts comprise standard SKDC terms and conditions and the relevant NEC terms and conditions too. In compliance with the open tender procedure being followed for this procurement, terms and conditions are non-negotiable.
