The scheme has been very effectively managed by Portesbery, delivering good performance in years 1 and 2 of the contract, with year 3 and year 4 disrupted by COVID.
For practical reasons the school is unable to deliver the full service in year 5 (2022/23). Specifically, they cannot manage and resource the summer scheme in 2022 or the after-school club in the autumn term (Sept-Dec 2022) and spring term (Jan-Mar 2023) terms, but is in a position to host provision delivered by another provider so that children and young people at the school can continue to benefit through to the end of March 2023.
