description
The Outstanding Teaching Learning and Assessment (OTLA) regional programme phase 3, is a regionally focussed, collaborative development programme to systematically improve teaching, learning and assessment, with a focus on attainment, retention and progression (value added measures).
Taking a regional approach (i.e. large urban area, multiple counties, as well as one of the nine regions), we are looking for a tender response that will support the development of teaching staff (and potentially their leadership). It is important that this work is in an area of the country that has not previously been involved in a large scale OTLA project, as we are seeking to maximise our coverage and impact for the sector. The regional approach does not need to be in relation to any specific definition of 'region' (i.e. local government, area review boundaries etc.), however, it needs to be a significant geographical area. There are three broad areas of the country which have not received support from an OTLA regional programme. These are:
- North East of England
- the West Midlands
- South Central England.
