Structural Assessment Tool at Traffic Speed (SATTS)

Highways England commission annual structural condition surveys of the strategic road network using the TRASS (Traffic Speed Structural Surveys) contract. These surveys have enabled Highways England to reduce the need for slow speed structural assessment.

Highways England is to procure a next generation Structural Assessment Tool at Traffic Speed (SATTS) device to assist in the research and development of traffic speed structural surveys, to ultimately remove the requirement for slow speed surveys of structural condition. The supplier will be required:

• to provide a device that measures the full deflection response of a pavement to a rolling load at traffic speed,

• to undertake and satisfy acceptance testing requirements for the device,

• provide training, support, annual maintenance and servicing of the measurement system of the device for up to 5 years.

How to Express Interest in this Tender:

There may be a mixture of online & offline actions for you to perform. You must then submit your reply using the "Submit Response" button at the top of the page. Expressions of interest must be submitted from the Contractor's registered office address. Each member of a Joint Venture (JV) must submit a letter from their own registered office confirming all company names in the proposed JV.

As a supplier/organisation looking to bid for public sector contracts you should be aware tender documentation for contracts over £10,000 will be published on a single website and made available to the public. You should also be aware that if your bid is successful, the resulting contract will be published.
