The design and installation of an adventure playground, including play equipment, surfacing, benches and bins, and an additional entrance, at Mill Meadows in Henley-on-Thames.
Scope of work
The work will consist of:
| • | Detailed designs for the playground, including drawings and specifications; |
| • | Working in collaboration with the Town Council to undertake a public consultation on the draft designs and to amend them accordingly; |
| • | Obtaining all necessary permissions, licences and approvals to undertake the work; |
| • | Removing and disposing of the existing play equipment; |
| • | Installing the new play equipment; |
| • | Installing new surfacing; |
| • | Installing benches, tables and bins; |
| • | Installing an additional entrance; |
| • | Associated landscaping to dress the playground: |
| • | Equipment and workmanship warranties and support for ongoing maintenance. |
Anticipated value
The anticipated value of the contract is £125,000, with a c.10% allowance either side.
