description
The Council requires a supplier for the provision of property valuation software that will allow BCCs to value the properties owned by BCC in order to comply with statutory requirement to provide valuations to the Auditors with the use of Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC) method of valuation.
This product needs to provide valuations, appraisals and analysis software to property professionals and makes such software applications available to Property Services via the internet.
Property Services will require the application to carry out the annual Asset valuation rolling programme that contains Birmingham City Council property portfolio, it will be used for carrying out valuations for investment and specialist type properties ranging from single investments units to large shopping centres. It should provide a complete valuation solution for operational properties, allowing alternative approaches to componentisation and fully compliant with CIPFA standards.
This combines industry standard valuation methodology with modern technology to significantly reduce the workload of regular valuations, the database holds an unlimited number of properties and any number of valuations for each property.
This contract will be for a period of 3 year, commencing 01/04/2021 until 31/03/2024. This contract will not be automatically renewed on an after the initial 3-year term, performance of the provider to meet agreed SLA's and KPI's will be rigorously monitored throughout the term. The Council will reserve the right to Terminate for convenience (as detailed in BCC's standard Terms & Conditions).
