West Berkshire Council's Public Health, Adult Social Care and Education teams are carrying out an early market engagement exercise in relation to a streamlined Supported Employment Service.

The primary aims of this service are:

To develop a supported employment service for young people aged 16 - 25 and 26+ with special educational needs and disabilities
To support individuals to identify, apply for and secure appropriate employment
To offer continued support to service-users for a define period who have secure employment and to help them stay in employment

The purpose of the engagement exercise is as follows:

To inform Providers that the Council may be bringing the project to the market later this year
To obtain preliminary information from potential bidders around the proposed service and what is deliverable
Gauge market interest
