West Berkshire Council's Public Health, Adult Social Care and Education teams are carrying out an early market engagement exercise in relation to a streamlined Supported Employment Service.
The primary aims of this service are:
| • | To develop a supported employment service for young people aged 16 - 25 and 26+ with special educational needs and disabilities |
| • | To support individuals to identify, apply for and secure appropriate employment |
| • | To offer continued support to service-users for a define period who have secure employment and to help them stay in employment |
The purpose of the engagement exercise is as follows:
| • | To inform Providers that the Council may be bringing the project to the market later this year |
| • | To obtain preliminary information from potential bidders around the proposed service and what is deliverable |
| • | Gauge market interest |
