Caretaking Services at Dover Park Primary School

Please note: This procurement process is being managed by the Isle of Wight Council on behalf of Dover Park Primary School. The resulting contract will be between the successful supplier and Dover Park Primary School.

The contract is for the regular caretaking services at Dover Park Primary School (\"the School\") from 1st August 2018 to 31st July 2023 with the option to extend the agreement for up to a further two years at the discretion of the School.

In addition to specified day-to-day caretaking schedules, the successful supplier will be responsible for carrying out a number of \"periodic\" tasks. During term time the caretaker will work 20 hours per week, with the ability to provide additional ad hoc hours as and when needed. During school holidays 20 hours will need to be worked for at least 4 weeks completing planned maintenance and decorating as directed by the headteacher. Additional hours will also be required during the school holidays, and occasional weekends, to allow access to the site by external Suppliers, organisations hiring the school and sometimes school staff.
