Hydrogen supply off-taker engagement

Renantis, working in collaboration with its partner HIVE Hydrogen, offer to supply green hydrogen that is compliant with the UK's low-carbon hydrogen standard to customers who are aiming to reduce their emissions and transition towards a net zero economy. The hydrogen offered is of fuel cell grade meeting at least one of the following standards: SAE:J2719_20151, ISO14687:2019, grade D. Hydrogen can either be collected or offered to be delivered using tube trailers and is expected to be available from Summer 2025 from an initial supply location.

We are seeking through this PIN to identify potential customers who are commercially interested in entering discussions about being an off-taker for the hydrogen available from Renantis from its Knockshinnoch Production Facility, based in the Community Council area of Patna, Electoral Ward of Doon Valley.

This interest can be a range of options including:

1. Collection from production site in Knockshinnoch
2. Delivery to usage site
3. Renantis/HIVE are willing to discuss alternative approaches which may be of interest to respondents

An Expression of Interest form is attached to the PIN notice, and we request that those interested complete and return this to the nominated contact point.

The potential customer must commit to the creation of an acceptable agreement to cover the supply of hydrogen and if required, engage in a supplementary agreement for the delivery of hydrogen to its usage site. Renantis/HIVE is interested in engaging with potential customers with prospective demand volumes of up to 5,700 kg green hydrogen per week. Renantis' site is powered completely by off-grid renewables, therefore potential customers will have the option of fuel availability 7 days per week, 24 hours per day subject to production availability.
