P0280 Repair and Maintenance of Lifts, Major Refurbishment and New Installation

Birmingham City Council will be acting as a Central Purchasing Body to forma a framework agreement for use by Local Authorities, Public Bodies, Housing Associations, Schools and Academies for the repair and maintenance of lifts to include major refurbishment and new installations to existing buildings. The scope of this framework is the installation, refurbishment, maintenance, service and repair of passenger lifts, goods lifts, platform lifts and patient lifting hoists.

The duration of the framework will be 4 years with 2 options to extend for up to 2 years each.

Birmingham City Council will be using its e-tendering system (In-Tend) for the administration of this procurement process. Providers must register with the system in order to express their interest. Registration and use of In-Tend is free and all correspondence and clarification in relation to this procurement process must be lodged via the In-Tend correspondence function.

Deadline for expressing an interest: 15.04.2016 12 noon

Requests to participate must be by way of completion and return of the PQQ documentation not later than 12:00 (GMT) on 22nd April 2016 via In-Tend.
