Rate of Pay: £10.83 per hour (PAYE)

Brief description:
Sandwell's Registration Services are seeking to employ a suitably experienced individual to be part of their Register Office team on a temporary basis to work as a Registration Officer.
The successful candidate should have experience and skills to be able to advise customers and other stakeholders on all aspects of birth, death, and marriage registration services. We therefore require candidates who are experienced in all aspects of Registration and have experience of registering births, deaths and marriages. It would ideal if candidates have worked in this sort of environment previously.
In addition, candidates should have experience and be competent in all aspects of administration, to include the use of all Microsoft Office applications, have good telephony skills and experience of cash handling. Accuracy and attention to detail are also necessary when performing this role. It is an essential requirement of the role to hold GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.

The rate of pay for this role is £10.83 per hour PAYE and the hours are 37 hours per week based at the Highfields House Office, High Street, West Bromwich, B70 8RJ.
Candidates must be readily available as the role is to start asap for a period of 12 weeks with a view to extend further as this role is required to cover a maternity leave. See JD and PS for further information.
