Single Inspection Note Machines

The Bank of England (BoE) is looking to replace its existing inspection machines at the Bank's facility at Debden with new single note machines. The Request for Information documentation provides wider context of the Bank's operations and key information with respect to the Bank's requirements.

The purpose of this early supplier engagement (ESE) is to request suppliers provide information and details to enable BoE to make informed decisions relating to a prospective tender.

Following receipt of information from the ESE, BoE will develop an options appraisal and determine the optimal method of tendering for the new single note inspection machines.

To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information, suppliers will need to access the information, suppliers are required to register on the Proactis e-sourcing portal via www.bankofenglandtenders.co.uk.

Deadline for Proactis E-Sourcing Portal registration: 15 July 2021

Suppliers are required to provide the email address used to register to the Proactis e-sourcing portal to FM.Contracts@bankofengland.co.uk, by no later than 2pm, 15 July 2021 as this allows suppliers to be invited to the project and gain access to supporting documentation and information relating to this PIN.
