External Repair & Refurbishment Work to Building - Church Street, Hartlepool

Hartlepool Borough Council is inviting contractors to submit tenders to carry out external repairs and refurbishment to the property. The contractor must have a valid SSIP Accreditation.

The site comprises a Victorian terrace built over 4 storeys.

It has been altered and extended at the rear with single and two storey offshoots. It is of traditional construction with dual pitched slate tiled roofs, brickwork walls and timber floors. The building contains flats on the first and second floor. The ground floor contains a bar/café.

The proposed works comprise: -

• Remodelling and refurbishment of the existing shop front
• Overhauling (or replacement) of existing windows
• Render replacement
• Leadwork repairs
• Recovering flat roof of the bay window and shop front cornice
• Replacement rainwater goods

The building will remain open and occupied throughout the period of the works.
