DFID are seeking to select an organisation/consortium/joint venture with which to develop a 4-year partnership for the provision of goods and equipment and associated services to DFID programmes.

(Single Supplier Framework) The objective of this model is for the framework supplier to work as a key business partner in the strategic and operational procurement of goods and equipment and associated services by:

• Establishing procurement strategies in order to commit to a partnership with DFID;
• Providing value for money on every programme/project typically in DFID priority countries;
• Ensuring transparency and be able to stand up to both internal and external scrutiny;
• Implementing excellence in procurement/contracting service terms and supplier management;
• Managing the whole supply chain, including provision of logistics services, customs clearance, duty taxes management and quality management especially of health commodities;
• Targeting measured savings from Third Party Suppliers;
• For some commodities, where applicable acting as an Agent to DFID and adhering to DFID procurement procedures, associated legislative requirements and adherence to EU Public Procurement Directives.
