description
In order to support the delivery of the High Growth Centre ERDF project, the High Growth Centre at Thornton Science Park, University of Chester will require the supply and delivery of items of furniture (cupboards, desk, tables, chairs and lockers) to meet the specification outlined within the tender documents.
The project is in receipt of ERDF grant funding to support the delivery of the programme and is therefore working to a limited budget. Tenderers are therefore strongly encouraged to submit their most “cost effective” option that most closely meets with at least the minimum specification.
Additional information: Tenderers are requested to note that the project is in receipt of matched ERDF grant funding to support the delivery of the programme and is therefore working to a limited budget. As a guide, the maximum budget allowed for this activity is up to £25,000 inclusive of VAT. However this depends on the outcome of this tender opportunity and may be significantly lower.
The University of Chester reserves the right, subject to available budget, funding rules and supplier’s satisfactory performance, to selectively extend any initial contract ultimately agreed and entered into as part of this procurement exercise. Any such additional requirements granted will use the same agreed rates; and will not exceed the original individual contracted value.
University of Chester does not guarantee that these quantities/values will be met or exceeded and as such no guarantee can be given regarding the volume of business placed with the appointed contractor.
Please note, that there is a possibility that the funding for this project may be withdrawn before the contractual term is completed. If funding is withdrawn, University of Chester reserves the right to terminate the contract without further liability.
Contract values and timescales for contract start and end dates may be subject to change.
Full details and award criteria are stated within the tender documents.
