Prior to liquidation in October 2015 SSI (UK) Ltd operated a 4 million tonne per annum integrated iron and steelmaking facility on Teesside. Included in the complex are two coke ovens and by-products plants, a coke oven gas pipeline (or main) and a heavy fuel oil pipeline (or main).
