description
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provide physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset. Its services are delivered at community bases, hospitals, clinics and in people's homes.
The Trust's vision is to deliver outstanding care for the entirety of its service users regardless of geographical location in line with Trust values to be caring safe and excellent. As such OHFT aims for its services to be delivered to the highest standards of safety and that it services are provided within a safe environment for patients and staff including the built environment.
As part of its future needs, OHFT's Estates and Facilities department has established a workforce development plan whose purpose is to support business growth and establish a 'talent pipeline' to provide smooth continuity to succession planning. To further facilitate this plan and to meet requirements for Apprenticeship standards, the Trust is seeking to appoint an approved provider to deliver apprenticeship training. The provider will need to deliver training modelled within the requirements of the Estates and Facilities workforce development plan. The programme of training will be agreed in principle for the contract term and be flexible. It is intended that Apprenticeship training should provide development and future career opportunities for apprentices underpinned with professional support and opportunity for on the job learning
