This appointment is for the Interior Designer on the North East Quarter. The North East Quarter is a mixture of refurbishment of the old mining building and new build to the rear. The scheme is circa 16,000m2 gross area with a building nett build cost budget of circa £62M. The building will contain the school of Physics, Computing and a research group referred to as Bragg. This is a science based building for undergraduate teaching and post research. The scheme is being procured as a two stage design and build scheme, administered using the NEC 3 option A contract. This was a mini competition under the Universities Professional Services Framework
