Cheshire East Council is seeking to procure a development partner to plan and deliver a comprehensive leisure-led, mixed-use scheme on the 1.85ha (4.57 acre) Royal Arcade site in Crewe town centre, which currently comprises 26 retail units and the town?s current bus station. This comprehensive high quality development will be anchored by a new cinema, include a new bus interchange and will combine new development on the whole or a substantial part of the site with enhancements to any retained elements, improved public realm and linkages with the remainder of the town centre.
The anticipated duration of the contract will be for a period of 5 years and the value attributed to it will be between £10m and £100m.
