description

A contract for provision of SSL certificates is required for a term of 24 months with the option to extend for an additional 12 months, commencing 1st February 2021.

The Authority currently manage up to 200 valid SSL/TLS Certificates (these contain a mixture of End User Customer Certificates, SSL/TLS Wildcards, Extended Validation, Business Multi Domain, SHA1 / SHA2's, plus FQDN Domains).

Over the period of the contract we anticipate this figure will grow year on year and we are looking to purchase up to 300 SSL Certificates each year, however this will depend on external factors and could fluctuate up or down.

The call-off contract provides a method for the Authority to purchase the required Certificates and Domains without any obligation to buy a set amount
