London and Surrey Kitchen Refurbishment Pilot

This is a pilot project for the refurbishment of kitchens to 50 properties owned and managed by AmicusHorizon in London and Surrey.

The Contractor will provide the following services:

• Removal of existing kitchen installation
• Installation of new kitchen in line with the agreed design
• All plumbing and electrical works required
• Tiling and decoration
• Removal of existing and installation of new flooring

The Contractor will not be responsible for acquiring kitchen cabinets, doors, worktops, taps and sinks. AmicusHorizon will ensure these elements are delivered to the property address as required.

The Contractor will provide CO2 emission information upon completion of the programme. This information should relate directly to this contract.

At all the times the Contractor will operate in line with all relevant legislation. And adhere to all relevant British and European standards in addition to those mentioned within this specification.

The Contractor must meet the following minimum standards:

• Have SSIP prior to contract commencement
• All site contract staff must have completed an asbestos awareness course that complies with Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
• Have Public Liability insurance of 5 million GBP
• Have Employers Liability insurance of 10 million GBP
• At least one (1) contract within the last 12 months with a Local Authority/Social Housing Client. Providing the same service as this tender requires either as a subcontractor or direct to the client.
