The Knowledge transfer Partnership leverages approx. £20M a year from funders and supports provision of high level skills and research support for food SMEs by bringing together researchers to work with SMEs to transfer training, skills and address a specific innovation problem.

KTP provides one of the key public delivery mechanisms for innovation support for the agri-food SME sector. This funding directly supports the ‘increasing productivity’ challenge for SMEs
