Part of establishing Cartwright Hall as a 'Hockney' destination and increasing visitor numbers (by 35 -50 % by end of year 1). 1.To devise a plan and deliver on it to promote the Hockney Gallery project nationally raising the profile of the gallery and highlighting the connection between Cartwright Hall and David Hockney, thereby establishing Cartwright Hall as a 'Hockney destination'. 2.To promote the associated events. Eg. David Hockney birthday party community engagement day on 9 July 2017 to maximize attendance figures. 3.To achieve editorial and reviews in national and local newspapers and magazines establishing a presence in popular and arts related press. 4.To coordinate advertising in national and local magazines. 5.To liaise with tourism agencies and other partners as appropriate to target tourists from inside and outside of Bradford District. Particularly across Yorkshire and the North but also cultural tourists from further afield. 6.To coordinate press calls and interviews. 7.To coordinate and advise on the design and production of relevant print, such as flyers or banners if required.
