Market Engagement Event
DSRL is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement to provide Safety Case and Peer Review Services.
It is proposed that the Framework Agreement is split into two Lots, one for Safety Case and one for Peer Review and four Consultants, per Lot, shall be awarded a Framework Agreement. The duration of the Framework Agreement shall be a maximum of 4 years (2+1+1) commencing July 2022 potentially through to June 2026 subject to extension. The estimated cumulative value of contracts that may be awarded through this Framework is £5M. It is anticipated that individual call-off Contracts will be up to £250k in value.
The procurement is scheduled to be launched in March 2022.
A pre-engagement event will be held (virtually) - details are as follows:
Date: Monday 7th of March 2022
Venue: Online via MS Teams
Time: 10am for approximately 1 hour
Please note the deadline for confirmation of attendance is 9 am on the 7th March 2022
Additional information: The Scope of Services for Safety Case Services (Lot 1) includes but is not limited to the following:
- Production of Safety Cases. The production of these documents will probably require site visits to the Dounreay site. These documents may include, but are not limited to:
- oLicence Condition 15 Reviews
- oPreliminary Safety Reports
- oPre-Construction Safety Reports
- oPre-Commissioning Safety Reports
- oPre-Operations Safety Reports
- oDounreay Modification Reports
- oDecommissioning Safety Justifications
- Provision of specialist Safety Case Services. The provision of these services will probably require site visits to the Dounreay site. These documents may include, but are not limited to:
- oHuman Factors
- oCriticality Assessments
- oNuclear Deterministic Fire Risk Assessment
- oEngineering Substantiation
- oRadiation Shielding Assessments
The Scope of Services for Peer Review Services (Lot 2) includes but is not limited to the following:
- Perform demonstrably Independent Nuclear Safety Assessments of Safety Cases and other nuclear safety submissions in accordance with DSRL procedures and the Nuclear Industry Good Practice Guide to Peer Review of Safety Cases. This may include, but is not limited to:
- oLicence Condition 15 Reviews
- oPreliminary Safety Reports
- oPre-Construction Safety Reports
- oPre-Commissioning Safety Reports
- oPre-Operations Safety Reports
- Perform demonstrably independent Peer Reviews or Independent Technical Assessment as required in support of due process for a nuclear safety submission. This may include, but is not limited to:
- oHuman Factors
- oCriticality Assessments
- oNuclear Deterministic Fire Risk Assessments
- oEngineering Substantiation
- oRadiation Shielding Assessments
