The aim of the project is to:

•Commission a new blended learning Return to Practice (RTP) Nursing & Midwifery programme using an innovation partnership

•It will fully exploit innovation in digital technologies to provide fully blended, interactive and innovative programmes that will meet the NMC's Standards for Return to Practice.

•It will prepare RTP nurses and midwives with the knowledge and skills to return to the workforce and register with the NMC

•It will support two pathways to return to NMC register, RTP course and Test of Competency (TOC) preparation

•It will create a significantly different offer in nursing education, that will support the growth of the workforce and prepare them for the demands of 21st century nursing & midwifery care and services •It will widen access to mature returners, returners from diverse & underrepresented groups, those with caring responsibilities and from remote & rural areas, whom currently haven't been able to access RTP programmes.
