Consultation for The Interim Homecare Service

Dear Providers,

We would like to invite you to an online consultation session on 25th January 2024 9:30am -11:30am, where we will be seeking your views on the contract documents for the interim contracting arrangements for the homecare provision within Leeds from 1st April 2024 onwards.

As you will be aware, Adults and Health Commissioning Staff have been undertaking a large programme of work looking to reshape homecare delivery in the city. This has led to the Community Health and Wellbeing Service Pilot that is currently out for tender. Whilst this pilot is ongoing there is a need to maintain a homecare provision for the rest of the city. Following our consultation session with the market on 13th September 2023 we have been incorporating feedback into our commissioning intentions for the interim contracting arrangements. On 6th December a decision was taken to enact the extension provision within the Community Homecare Contract to extend the end date from 31st January 2024 to 31st March 2024, this will mean we can align the start of our Interim contracting arrangements with the new financial year. In preparation for this we would really appreciate your feedback on the drafts documents on YORtender that will form this interim contract.

Please submit any written feedback on the documents by 21st January 2024 via YORtender. This will give us time to collate feedback in time for the session on 25th January. A meeting invite will be sent for this session will be sent out in due course. We appreciate there are lots of different communications coming out from the Council regarding home care in the city. Therefore to avoid any confusion please note this is not related to the Community Health and Wellbeing Service pilot, this is consulting on the city wide homecare contract to start from 1st April 2024.
