Horsham District Council - Horsham Markets

The Council is looking for a Market Operator who is innovative, creative and passionate about markets and will run the Thursday and Saturday markets on the Council’s behalf.

Horsham is a traditional market town in the heart of West Sussex with a current population of around 50,000 people and is set to grow by almost a half over the next fifteen years. The markets, food events, restaurants and cafes in the heart of the town are key to the success of the town’s growing reputation as a food lover’s place of choice. Since 2010, three weekly markets and a small number of event markets have been managed, marketed and operated under a contract run by a single market operator. This type of arrangement has proved successful for the Council and is therefore looking for a Market Operator to continue to maintain high standards as detailed in the Specification.
