Concession Contract for Ducting Infrastructure

A Concession Contract is to be advertised by Southend-on-Sea Borough Council in respect to Southend-on-Sea Borough Council seeking to secure a partner to commercialise under a concessionary agreement ducting infrastructure owned and maintained by the Borough Council. The Invitation To Tender (ITT) is due to be published during w/c 7th September, 2015.

An Information Day which will outline this exciting opportunity in more detail and which will also focus on a separate wireless concession being implemented by Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is being staged between 10.00 a.m. and 12.30 pm on Thursday 18th June 2015 at

The purpose of the information day event is to inform interested parties of the vision of the Council and its partners, the scale and scope of the ducting infrastructure and the potential opportunities which exist and are planned for the Borough of Southend-on-Sea.. The presentation of this vision and opportunity is designed to encourage interested parties to consider the Borough of Southend-on-Sea as a place to invest, to work with the local authority and to respond to the ITT.
