Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies have a joint OH & Well Being Service aiming to deliver a consistent,effective and quality service with joint co-ordination and management at the administrative hub based at the Norfolk Force Headquarters in Wymondham. The services of a dedicated Occupational Health Physician, referred to as a Force Medical Advisor (FMA) is required. The successful contractor will be required to provide consistent, flexible and high quality medical services to support the aims and delivery performance requirements of the service under the coordination of the Occupational Health Manager. The estimated requirements are 20 hours per week (960 hours per year based upon 48 weeks of work a year) to be split 1.5 days (or 3 sessions of 4 hours) per week for Norfolk Constabulary and 1 day(or 2 sessions of 4 hours) a week for Suffolk Constabulary. This will be subject to flexibility dependent upon the specific demands. The appointment will be for one FMA provider to ensure consistency in diagnosis and medical practice across both forces.
