The City of Wolverhampton Council shall be commissioning a support service under the Home Office Syrian Vulnerable Person Resettlement (VPR) Programme. It is our intention to resettle approximately twenty (20) people per year for the next 5 years within the City of Wolverhampton. In brief the provider shall provide the following service: Provision of suitable furnished accommodation Provision of interpretation and translation General Orientation promoting independence Support Planning Key working Identified housing is fit for purpose Housing related support Referral to Health Care including access to Primary and Secondary care Access to Education both adults and children Assessment and delivery of ESOL by an accredited provider. Benefits Advice Maximising Employment and Training opportunities Wellbeing Care and support Clothing, food, including integration into local communities, access to leisure facilities and or social groups Referral to relevant organisation to meet the identified needs of the service user.

Additional information: Instructions to Suppliers: Interest in this contract process should be expressed via the Council's tendering portal www.wolverhamptontenders.com The Council reserves the right to cancel the procurement and not to proceed with the contract. The Council also reserves the right not to award a contract or to award a contract for parts or part of the services only. The Council will not, under any circumstances, reimburse any expense incurred by bidders in preparing their tender submissions. The Council notes that the award of the contract may involve a transfer of employment undertakings pursuant to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, and will clarify the position with the applicants during the tender process. Under this procurement the contractor is required to actively participate in the economic and social regeneration of the locality of and surrounding the place of delivery for the procurement.

Accordingly contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
