This business case seeks approval to invest up to £40,000 to commission the development of ten scripts for e-learning modules on the building blocks for rolling out Midwifery Continuity of Carer in maternity services. The transition to the Midwifery Continuity of Carer model is a major workforce transformation for maternity services and therefore these training materials are aimed at all staff working in maternity services, including frontline staff, operational managers, and senior directors. Modules will be tailored according to relevance to each staff group.

Key requirements for the supplier are:

Track record in writing scripts for e-learning modules.

An understanding of Midwifery Continuity of Carer and familiarity with the NHS England building blocks for this policy.

Credibility and relationships across the health sector, in particular with maternity organisations.

Works effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with health and care leaders across the NHS and partner organisations.

Ability to deliver projects to tight timescales, on time and in budget.
