Philips High School is a co-educational 11-16 comprehensive school of over 860 pupils and is located on Higher Lane, Whitefield, Manchester within the boundaries of Bury Council. The school is designated as seven-form entry, with a philosophy founded on a belief in respect, traditional values, courtesy, self-discipline, hard work and the rewarding of excellence. Philips High School currently has a network system that is no longer fit for purpose and requires upgrading. The School is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced companies to provide a new network system. This will Include the supply, installation, support and maintenance of a new network system to meet the current and future needs of the school as outlined in the Request For Quotation document. Only suppliers that are capable of installing and maintaining network systems need apply. The system will also need to be in place and available for use as soon as possible following contract commencement, but in any case by no later than 31st August 2015.
