description

The Electoral Commission would like to procure the services of an organisation to scope and design the upgrading of our SharePoint environment from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016.

The service provider will be responsible for carrying out an audit of the current platform and deliver a fully costed plan for migration including the remediation of issues around third party applications.

The service provider will not be responsible for delivering the upgrade as part of this project. There is potential for this work to be taken forward in 2017-18 but it does not form part of this procurement process.

We are looking for an organisation which has extensive experience of managing SharePoint migrations and upgrades and has a good working knowledge of the possibilities that can be exploited when moving to SharePoint 2016.

We expect responses to this tender to include information on relevant experience. In particular we want to see evidence of •a strong understanding SharePoint 2010 and 2016

•previous experience working with public sector organisations and the regulatory requirements this brings •a proven track record of delivering projects of this kind
