description
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is conducting an engagement exercise to explore potential capability or services available which may support improvements to the enforcement of confiscation orders. A confiscation order is made in the Crown Court after conviction to deprive the defendant of their benefit from crime.
The exercise aims to identify and explore opportunities for public-private partnerships in the enforcement of confiscation orders. This exercise is separate to previous activity conducted by other government departments and will be seeking feedback on specific proposals beyond debt considered problematic to enforce.
An engagement event will be held via MS Teams webinar on 30th November 2021. Details of how to register your interest, access introductory information and attend the event can be found within this notice.
This notice relates to an opportunity to engage and is not a call for competition.
If you would like to register your interest and access the introductory information pack, please register your interest by:
- Creating an account or logging into the MoJ eSourcing portal at: https://ministryofjusticecommercial.bravosolution.co.uk
- Within the portal users can navigate using the left side menu, selecting 'PQQs Open to All Suppliers' and then selecting 'PQQ_7497 - Engagement Opportunity: Enforcement of Confiscation Orders'.
- Users can express an interest by clicking 'Express interest'.

For the avoidance of doubt, the use of a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is used solely for the purposes of expressions of interest and to act as a system mechanism for sharing information and communicating with interested parties. There is no requirement to complete a questionnaire or submit information. This notice relates to an engagement opportunity and is not a call for competition or an invitation to take part in pre-qualification proceedings.
Enquiries relating to the exercise should be directed to CCMDEnforcement@justice.gov.uk
For technical assistance with the MoJ eSourcing Portal please contact the central support team using the details provided on the portal homepage.
