Brief description:

We are looking for a Solicitor - Housing Disrepair (Civil and Business). The candidate will be responsible for delivery of legal advice and casework in the area of Housing Disrepair. To work within the Legal litigation team to provide accurate, comprehensive and proactive legal advice to internal clients within the legal specialism of housing disrepair decisions and case work.

Role responsibilities:

• oPrepare and process cases and legal documents in the area of disrepair for Housing and litigation.
• oCarry a caseload and work with minimal or no supervision.
• oPersonally, manage complex casework and legal projects in the area of Housing and litigation law.
• oAssist with the setting up of internal processes and deliver training to internal client department.
• oProvide responsive advice on the management of risk on legal issues.

Qualification: Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive. Must possess current practising certificate which is free of conditions.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience of practical legal work of which 2 years must have been gained in the relevant specialism.

The successful candidate will gain considerable exposure to a varied workload with a high level of responsibility and extensive client contact.
