description

This innovative programme has been developed principally for 16 - 18 year olds but is open to all eligible Impact participants. The programme has been designed to support participants to develop their social and personal skills, as they emerge out of lockdown.

Service Providers are requested to submit creative proposals that combines the delivery of a theoretical, practical & team activities-based programme, that will engage the target audience.

The programme should take place over 10 full days, with a least two days focusing on activities that supports the learning of previous days.

It is anticipated that activities will be delivered to groups of a minimum of 6 participants.

The theory and practical elements of the programme should include skills from the list below which is not exhaustive:

  • oDecision-making
  • oGoal setting
  • oTeam working
  • oCoaching
  • oResilience
  • oSelf-awareness
  • oListening
  • oProblem solving
  • oFlexibility
  • oEnterprise awareness

The team activities should be varied, engaging, challenging and fun, e.g. mini golf, film/video/podcast production, paintballing, outbound activities, attending the cinema etc., this is not an exhaustive list.

Service Provider must:

  • oinclude the price of participants lunches, travel & transport within the quote;
  • odeliver from a location in Sandwell that is accessible by public transport, outlining the planned delivery locations and venues to be used during the course;
  • oadhere to health and safety rules and regulations being fully responsible for all risk assessments including external activities; provide PPE where necessary and report any accidents/incidents in a timely manner. The service provider must evidence observation of a Covid-19 safe working environment, indoors and outdoors.
  • oreport on performance against agreed targets at a timeframe to be agreed and specified in the contract.
