Swindon Borough Council is seeking input from the market the supply of a rehabilitation day centre for people with brain injuries. This market assessment is not part of the procurement process, but is purely investigative in nature, to potentially assist the Council in defining a specification and contract for the services. This advert (reference DN311752 on www.Supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk) relates to a proposed 'soft market testing' exercise only and is NOT a call for competition. Any contracts for services or supplies relating to this exercise may be subject to separate procurement process(es) in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended). All participants in this 'soft market testing' exercise shall be responsible for their own costs (including third party costs) and the Contracting Authority shall have no liability to any participant. The purpose of this Soft Market Test is to gain intelligence on the supply market for Swindon Borough Council's requirements, including information that will help define the most appropriate structure and plan for any potential competitive procurement exercise. I would like to ask you as provider to answer a simple questionnaire which will help inform our procurement process. Closing date for the soft market testing is 7th December 2017. The budget for the service will up to £32,200 per annum this will cover core costs. Personal Budgets will be assigned to individuals to cover costs per service user. Previous years spends have been- Year Spend 16-17 £167498.60 15-16 £142519.04 14-15 £150700.33 This spend is not guaranteed. There are currently 66 service users placed with the current provider.
