UHMBT would like to commission a secure courier service to transport category B Pathology samples to UN3373 standards from sexual health clinics in Essex to the Blood Sciences laboratory at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Samples must be collected from multiple clinics in Essex each evening at appropriate times from Monday to Saturday for delivery to Lancaster by 07:00 the next morning, Tuesday to Sunday. Deliveries will be required on bank holidays.
Samples will be collected from unmanned secure SampleSafe boxes and designated manned sites in Essex. Some collections will be time critical.

Additionally we will require a courier service to transport bulk consumables from Lancaster to each of four hub sites in Essex at least four times each year.
The service must be flexible to meet the changing needs of UHMBT and our partner organisation in Essex during the life of the contract e.g. to allow the addition of clinic sites or changes to collection times.
