description

The Youth Offending Service (YOS) across Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council have been working closely over the last twelve to eighteen months. Going forwards it has been thought that a single IT system will allow improved communication and service provision across both sites. A shared system between the sites will contribute to better integration and allow managers to work across both systems effectively.

Statutory reporting to the Youth Justice Board (YJB) and management of the service is carried out separately and will continue to be carried out independently by the respective service areas at present.
