description
NHS Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (the commissioners) invites expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced providers, including third sector and social enterprise organisations, private and NHS organisations, to provide community MSK services across Oxfordshire.
Commissioners intend to hold a market engagement event with potential bidders to understand opportunities and barriers to providing this service within Oxfordshire and to assist commissioners with shaping their procurement strategy and service specification. This is not a call for competition.
The contract is expected to commence on 1st September 2022.
The service will focus on delivering a fully integrated model of care that will offer a full Musculoskeletal Assessment Triage and Treatment (MATT) service, that incorporates, web based interactive self-management support, signposting, advice, triage, referral, assessment and treatment and will include all MSK physiotherapy, podiatry and pain management, women's health and bladder and bowel care. Close joint working with other healthcare services, such secondary care (acute) NHS providers and primary care (GP), is imperative to the successful delivery of this service.
The service is to be made available to all patients registered with GPs in the area.
The Market Engagement Event is expected to be held in a virtual environment on the 28th January 2021. Further details will be released to interested potential bidders in due course.
Please complete the attached market engagement questionnaire and submit along with your EOI.
Expression of Interest must be received by 22nd January 2021 and submitted to Donna Harrington and Claire Lester via email to: donnaharrington@nhs.net and claire.lester1@nhs.net
This process is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
Additional information: This notice is an information gathering exercise rather than a call for competition in its own right, and therefore publication or response does not commit Oxfordshire CCG or respondents to a future procurement, nor provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest. Commissioners are looking to establish what interest there might be in providing such a service from suitably qualified, capable and competent organisations.
Oxfordshire CCG will not be liable for costs incurred by any interested party in participating in this exercise. Interested parties should note that a response to this notice does not guarantee an automatic invitation to any subsequent formal procurement, which the commissioners will consider in due course.
