description
This Early Market Engagement Questionnaire is NOT a call for competition and is NOT a guarantee that the results of this exercise will formally begin the procurement or constitute any commitment by Tower Hamlets Council to undertake any procurement exercise. Tower Hamlets Council is looking to go out to the market in the near future for the service provision of Enterprise Support to borough residents who wish to engage in entrepreneurial activity. The council would like to take the opportunity to engage with the market through this Early Market Engagement Questionnaire and request for information from your organisation of the services you provide. This information is requested as part of a market engagement exercise in order to seek the market's views on the development of a local model of services, the capacity of the market to supply these services, and the level of interest in this proposed procurement activity. The specific outcomes of Action for New Enterprise Project are: · To provide entrepreneurship training to a minimum of 250 beneficiaries who are residents of Tower Hamlets through the provision of a structured enterprise training course. · To provide tailored consultancy advice and support to a minimum of 50 beneficiaries and a minimum of 30 third-sector organisations. · To improve the access of these new entrepreneurs to finance (LBTH intends to establish a grant system for the newly established business to apply to). Tower Hamlets Council is looking for responses to the questionnaire from any interested parties. The responses will be used by the council as part of an information gathering exercise to assist in shaping the project and service output specification ready for procurement. No information provided in the response to the Early Market Engagement Questionnaire will be used in any evaluation of any subsequent response to a procurement exercise. Responses provided will be treated confidentially and for the sole purpose to help structure a future procurement exercise.
Additional information: The Early Market Engagement Questionnaire is NOT a call for competition and is NOT a guarantee that the results of this exercise will formally begin the procurement or constitute any commitment by Tower Hamlets Council to undertake any procurement exercise.
