Wash SPA Low Tide Bird Count 2017

To undertake a low tide bird survey which will supply information on numbers and distribution of the internationally important assemblage of non-breeding waterbirds including regularly occurring migratory species which are interest features of The Wash Special Protection Area, The Wash Ramsar and The Wash Site of Special Scientific Interest to fulfill condition monitoring requirements and inform casework. This information will be compared with previous low tide surveys to give a measure of temporal and spatial change in the numbers and distribution of feeding birds using the site.
